WHO AM I ? PRESENT POGRESSIVE OR PRESENT CONTINUOS TENSE

 Hello  Everyone,

so let’s proceed ahead and let me introduce you to myself. I am well acquainted with the name of Present Continuous Tense but a few only know that I am known as Present Progressive Tense also. Because I help those who need to express their statements that have been started at some point of time but have not been finished by the tie of expressing. . Thus the statements are still in progress or continuity. Understand with this example-

  • Srishti is singing well.
  •  I am having my lunch, will call you back soon.
  •  Why are you not listening to me?
  • Diya is hitting the ball perfectly.
  • Why are you gulping your food so hurriedly?

But, if you think, I help in making such statements only, then you are wrong. I help in framing those statements as well which are going to take place in nearby future. Have a look at these examples-

I am going to buy a new flat soon.

Are you planning to shift from here?

Thus you can definite me in the following way –
